Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven

    Preheat oven to 375 F and lightly grease 8x8 baking dish.

  1. Make the Topping

    Melt the butter. Combine flour, sugar, and brown sugar until crumbs form in a medium bowl. Set aside.

  1. Make the Cake

    Add flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, butter, whole milk, buttermilk, beaten egg and vanilla in a large bowl. Mix until batter forms. Wash and dry fresh blueberries. Fold them into the batter. Do not over mix!

  1. Add Topping

    Pour batter into greased 8x8 baking dish. Sprinkle crumble toping over batter.

  1. Bake

    Bake in middle rack for 50 min or until center toothpick comes out clean. 

  1. Glaze and Serce

    Once baked, let cake cook for a few minutes. Then spoon glaze over crumble topping. Serve and enjoy warm or cold!
